The HCC provides in-home professional health and personal support services. A team of Case Managers accepts referrals and assesses the needs of clients in order to deliver timely, appropriate care.
Community Care Haliburton County is a non-profit charitable organization which provides community support services to seniors and adults with disabilities and/or illnesses and their caregivers. These include: meals on wheels, transportation, emergency response system, diner’s club, friendly visiting, security checks, brokered home help and home maintenance, social recreational services. These services are coordinated by staff and the front line services are provided by registered volunteers.
Haliburton Highlands Health Services
HHHS provides acute care, long-term care, community health and mental health services to the Haliburton Highlands catchment area. HHHS is a lead partner in the Family Health Team.

Haliburton Highlands Mental Health Services provides advocacy, intensive case management, counseling & treatment, early psychosis intervention and housing. It is a unique, voluntary, client-centred, community-based program that upholds each of the values associated with responsiveness, accessibility, continuity and individualized services to people who experience mental health conditions and who reside in the Haliburton County area. Guided by the province’s Mandatory Programs and Services Guidelines, the HKPR District Health Unit works in partnership with local residents and agencies to prevent illness, protect against disease and promote healthier lifestyles.

Midwifery Services of Haliburton Bancroft
We are a small but mighty team of midwives offering prenatal, birth and postpartum care for women and newborns with the option of home or hospital birth for low risk women.
As the only obstetric care providers in the Haliburton/Bancroft area, we endeavour to accommodate all women seeking care.
Paramedic Services – Haliburton County
Haliburton County Paramedic Service (HCPS) is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of its citizens. HCPS paramedics serve as the front-line of our emergency health care system and play a critical role in the provision of emergency care and treatment of a patient’s medical condition or injuries.
The service is jointly funded by the County of Haliburton and the Province of Ontario through the Ministry of Health.
Point In Time – Centre for Children, Youth and Parents
Point In Time provides a breadth of voluntary services to children 0-19 and their families residing in Haliburton County. PinT staff has a diverse set of skills that allows them to work creatively with families at the point in time when the assistance of caring professionals can help them to go forward in their lives in a positive and successful manner. If PinT can’t help you directly with a child-related problem, they will help you find someone who can.
SIRCH Community Hospice provides community-based services to individuals who are living with, dying from or bereaved by a life-threatening illness, and to those in any stage of Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias. Hospice support includes trained volunteers, support groups, information and respite.
The YWCA of Peterborough, Victoria and Haliburton exists to support the right of all women and their families to live free from violence, poverty and oppression. In Haliburton County their services include crisis and support services for abused women as well as counseling for women seeking healing from experiences of abuse and sexual assault. The YWCA also offers connection and referral to community supports and resources to assist women to live free of violence.
